Tony earned his personal training certification at Northwestern Michigan College. In the competitive world of body building, Tony's tried and true training regiments quickly placed him at the top of many of the sport's most illustrious national titles, including Mr. World, Mr. Universe, and Mr. California. Upon moving to Los Angeles, Tony earned a reputation as a top personal trainer with cutting-edge techniques. Word quickly spread to Hollywood's elite, and Tony found himself working with the industry's top actors, actresses, directors, producers and musicians. Notably, Tony also helped Dean Cain get in "Superman" shape for his years as the buff hero on "Lois and Clark". But celebrities weren't the only ones impressed with Tony: In 2005 and 2006, City Search named him "The best personal trainer in Los Angeles."

Next, Tony set his considerable focus and ambition on a new dream on opening his own gym. That dream came to fruition in the form of his state-of-the-art training facility, Ultra Body Fitness. Tony was certified as trainer in 1984 at the age of 19, the same year in which he won his first title and helped open and manage a club called Sweat Shop in Michigan.

He came to Los Angeles in 1990 and worked as a manager and personal trainer for Gold's Gym in Venice for two years. He is currently an independent trainer working with stars and executive producers at Warner Brothers Studios in Burbank. His clients have included such people as Dean Cain of Lois & Clark, and Harry Hamlin of L.A. Law, John Heard of The Client, Andrew Levitas of Party of Five and The Nanny, and Michael Rosenbaum of Jack and Jill.

Tony is also an actor in commercials (Ford, Prell Shampoo), a print modeling (Ironman, Muscle & Fitness, Prell Shampoo), television actor (Hardcopy, Lois & Clark, The Drew Carey Show), and stunt man (Lois & Clark, Prey, The West Wing).

He opened Ultra Body Fitness in May of 1999.
